Beautiful. This is being shown at the Mori Art Museum in Tokyo right now. My parents have an apartment right downstairs from it and I keep telling them they should go see it... but I guess they don't freak out about the M1, BMW's Art Cars, or Wharhol like I do?

Wow.
Incredible photo.
(I'da panned the photo up a bit more (maybe 1/8 of the photo higher) but it's great either way)

Am I doing it right?

Sounds like rule of thirds lol

Precisely!
I didn't say what I said
exclusively
because of the rule of thirds though...
I don't like the huge crosswalk at the bottom of the photo. I like its presence, but it has too much of a presence. Meanwhile to "correct" this, you could either crop some off the bottom - which would naturally bring you closer to the rule of thirds - or you can simply pan up - also naturally bringing you towards the same rule. One can see it as "coincidence" (though if you know of the rule, you would also know that it's not really a coincidence that it'd look better).
Plus if you panned up you'd see more of the buildings which make an awesome background far better than the crosswalk makes an awesome foreground. More complex and potentially distracting, yes, but this is managed through subject's color and it could be further aided with depth of field control.
Sorry, I'm feeling very photographic now after doing a shoot for class today XD

After the collision with the Sherwin-Williams truck, Utzi decided to just go ahead and use the insurance money to pay bills.
